Currently, Hebei Beiguang Electric Power Equipment project with annual production capacity of 50,000 tons electric power equipments and the total investment valued at RMB300m is put into production Botou Industrial Region.

It is said that this project is invested jointly by Beijing Beiguang International Investment Consultation Co., Ltd. and Beijing Sanyuan Taihe Investment Management Co., Ltd. with the total investment of RMB300m. This project is mainly about R&D, production and sales of electric power equipment (incl. Wind power) and foundry products.

After knowing the two companies in Beijing plan to invest to construct electric power equipment and foundry goods, the relevant leaders in Botou immediately contacted with project principals and have come to Beijing to have negotiation for many times to introduce the advantages of Botou foundry industry to the companies detailedly. The leaders also invite the two companies to give a review in Botou sincerely. Through the negotiation for nearly half a year, the two companies in Beijing are attracted by rich foundry industry resources, perfect infrastructure and soft environment in Botou and finally decide to have an investment in Botou.

It is said that this electric power equipment project occupies the area as much as 54,000 sq m and it will be constructed in two phases. It is estimated that the annual production capacity of electric power facilities is 12,000 tons after the first-phase production is started and the sales income valued at RMB150m can be realized and about RMB15m taxation will be paid; the annual production capacity of electric power facilities will reach 50,000 tons after the whole project is put into production. Nowadays, all of the relevant procedures have been transacted and the geological exploration preparation work before the construction is ongoing. It is hopeful that the first-phase engineering may be put into production in late-2010.

The relevant principals of Botou introduce after the project is put into production, this project will become another leading enterprise in foundry industry in Botou and will supply large support and drive to Botou foundry industry in terms of making improvement and upgrade, extending industrial chain and optimizing industrial structure.
